Thameslink between Bedford and London St Pancras International / Sutton / Three Bridges / Gatwick Airport / Horsham / Brighton and also between Luton and London St Pancras International / Sutton / Gatwick Airport / Gillingham / Rainham

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Luton and London St Pancras International, closing all lines.

East Midlands Railway:

An amended timetable will run, with trains starting and terminating at Luton instead of London St Pancras International.

A rail replacement bus service will run to / from Luton and Hitchin, where you can connect with Great Northern / Thameslink services to / from London Kings Cross / London St Pancras International.

Thameslink:

Saturday

A revised train service will run between:

  • Bedford and Luton

  • London Bridge and Rainham

  • London Blackfriars and Sutton (London) via Wimbledon

  • West Hampstead Thameslink and Brighton / Three Bridges / Sutton (London) via Mitcham Junction

Sunday

A revised train service will run between:

  • Bedford and Luton

  • London Bridge and Three Bridges / Horsham / Gravesend

  • London Blackfriars and Sutton (London) via Wimbledon

  • West Hampstead Thameslink and Brighton / Sutton (London) via Mitcham Junction

Saturday and Sunday

No trains will run between West Hampstead Thameslink and Luton.

Replacement buses will run between:

  • Luton and West Hampstead Thameslink

And for alternative trains to / from London between:

  • Luton Airport Parkway to Hitchin via Luton - your tickets will be accepted on Great Northern / Thameslink services between Hitchin and London

  • Harpenden to Potters Bar via St Albans City - your tickets will be accepted on Great Northern / Thameslink services between Potters Bar and London
