Description

Engineering work is taking place between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace / West Croydon, closing all lines.

London Overground:

An amended service will run between Highbury & Islington and New Cross Gate / New Cross.

No trains will run between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace / West Croydon.

Ticket acceptance:

You can use your ticket at no extra cost with:

  • Southern buses between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace

  • Southern between Crystal Palace and East Croydon via Norwood Junction

  • London Buses / London Trams by any reasonable route

Southern:

Buses will replace trains between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace.

Trains will run between London Victoria and Crystal Palace.

Trains between London Bridge and Caterham / Tattenham Corner will run to an amended timetable and will be diverted via Tulse Hill.

Paper rail tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on the following Transport for London services:

  • London Underground Jubilee line between London Bridge and Canada Water

  • London Overground (Windrush line) between Canada Water and New Cross Gate

  • London Bus route 157 between Crystal Palace and West Croydon

Journey times will be increased when using replacement buses.

Thameslink:

Most Thameslink trains will be diverted and unable to call at London Bridge.

Thameslink Rainham route trains will run to an amended timetable between Kentish Town / London Bridge and Gravesend.

All other Thameslink trains which usually run via London Bridge (with the exception of some early morning / late night trains) will be diverted between London Blackfriars and East Croydon, will not call at London Bridge, and will run to a revised timetable with extended journey times.

Paper rail tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on London Underground services for to complete your journey to / from London Bridge.

Trains which usually run between Luton and Sutton will only run between St Albans and Sutton, to a revised timetable. You should use alternative Thameslink services between St Albans and Luton.
