Description

Engineering work is taking place between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace / West Croydon, closing various lines.

London Overground:

Saturday:

An amended service will run between Highbury & Islington and New Cross Gate.

No trains will run between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace / West Croydon.

Sunday:

An amended service will run between Highbury & Islington and New Cross Gate / New Cross.

No trains will run between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace / West Croydon.

Ticket acceptance:

On both Saturday and Sunday you can use your ticket at no extra cost with:

  • Southern between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace

  • Southern between Crystal Palace and East Croydon via Norwood Junction

  • London Buses / London Trams by any reasonable route

Southern:

Saturday and Sunday:

No trains will run between London Bridge and East Croydon / Crystal Palace / Norwood Junction via Sydenham.

Trains between London Bridge and Caterham will run to an amended timetable, and will be diverted to run via Peckham Rye.

London Victoria to London Bridge trains will only run between London Victoria and Crystal Palace.

Replacement buses will run between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace.

Paper rail tickets will be accepted on London Bus route 157 between Crystal Palace and West Croydon.

Tickets will also be accepted on London Underground Jubilee line trains between London Bridge and Canada Water, and London Overground trains between Canada Water and New Cross Gate.

Saturday:

Trains which usually run between East Croydon and Watford Junction will only run between Clapham Junction and Shepherds Bush.

Uckfield route trains will only run between East Croydon and Uckfield.

Trains which usually run between London Bridge and Epsom will not run.

Thameslink:

Thameslink services between Bedford / Cambridge / Peterborough and Gatwick Airport / Haywards Heath / Horsham / Brighton will be diverted between London Blackfriars and East Croydon and will not call at London Bridge, journey times will be extended. A reduced number of trains will run between London Blackfriars and Three Bridges.

Trains between Luton and Rainham are subject to minor retiming.

Trains between Luton / St Albans and Sutton via Wimbledon are subject to minor retiming.

On Saturday, trains between Luton / London Blackfriars and Sutton via Mitcham Junction will not run. You can use Southern services to / from London Victoria to complete your journey.
