Great Western Railway between London Paddington / Newbury and Bedwyn

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Newbury and Bedwyn, closing all lines on Monday to Thursday evenings.

As a result:

  • The 21:57 Newbury to Bedwyn service will not run, and will be replaced by a bus

  • The 22:25 Bedwyn to Newbury service will not run, and will be replaced by an earlier replacement bus which will connect at Newbury with the 22:47 Newbury to Reading service

  • The 22:30 London Paddington to Bedwyn service will start from Reading at 22:59, and will terminate at Newbury. A replacement bus will run from Newbury to Bedwyn. For travel from London, you should travel on the 22:30 London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads service and change at Reading to connect with the amended train service

  • The 22:47 Newbury to Bedwyn service will not run, and will be replaced by a bus

  • The 23:17 Bedwyn to Reading service will start from Newbury at 23:34. An earlier replacement bus will run from Bedwyn to Newbury to connect with the train, and a second bus will run from Bedwyn at 23:35 to Reading, calling at Hungerford, Kintbury and dropping off only at Newbury, Thatcham and Reading
