Great Western Railway between London Paddington and Worcestershire Parkway / Worcester Shrub Hill / Hereford

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Oxford and Worcester Shrub Hill, closing all lines on Monday to Thursday evenings.

As a result:

  • The 22:00 Hereford to London Paddington service will run between Hereford and Worcester Shrub Hill and between Oxford and London Paddington only. There will be no connection between the two parts of the train. Road transport will run from Worcester Shrub Hill to Worcestershire Parkway, Pershore, Evesham, Honeybourne, Moreton-in-Marsh, dropping off only at Kingham, Charlbury, Hanborough and Oxford. Note there will be no rail connection towards London Paddington, you should instead travel on earlier train services

  • The 21:53 London Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill service will call additionally at Didcot Parkway. It will then divert between Didcot Parkway and Worcester Shrub Hill (via Swindon and Cheltenham Spa – not calling at either). You can use alternative rail connections from Didcot Parkway to Oxford, and road transport from Oxford to Hanborough, Charlbury, Shipton, Kingham, Moreton-in-Marsh, Honeybourne, Evesham, Pershore, Worcestershire Parkway and Worcester Shrub Hill

  • The 22:51 London Paddington to Worcestershire Parkway service will terminate at Oxford. Road transport will run from Oxford to Hanborough, Charlbury, Kingham, Moreton-in-Marsh, Honeybourne, Evesham, Pershore and Worcestershire Parkway
