Description

Engineering work is taking place at several places between Oxford and Great Malvern, closing various lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

Monday and Tuesday:

The 21:53 London Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill service will additionally call at Didcot Parkway. It will then divert to run via Swindon (not calling). For travel via Oxford, you can use rail connections between Didcot Parkway and Oxford. For stations from Hanborough to Worcestershire Parkway, you should travel by the earlier 21:23 London Paddington to Oxford, then road transport from Oxford to Hanborough, Charlbury, Shipton, Kingham, Moreton-in-Marsh, Honeybourne, Evesham, Pershore and Worcestershire Parkway. This bus continues to Worcester Shrub Hill.

Monday to Thursday:

The 22:00 Hereford to London Paddington service will run between Hereford and Worcester Shrub Hill, and between Oxford and London only. There will be no connection between the two parts of the train. A replacement bus will run from Worcester Shrub Hill to Oxford.

The 22:51 London Paddington to Worcestershire Parkway service will terminate at Oxford. A replacement bus will run from Oxford to Worcestershire Parkway.

Wednesday and Thursday:

The 20:52 London Paddington to Great Malvern service will terminate at Worcester Shrub Hill. A replacement bus will run from Worcester Shrub Hill to Great Malvern.

The 21:53 London Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill service will terminate at Oxford. Two replacement buses will run from Oxford to Worcester Shrub Hill, one bus will run direct, the other will call at intermediate stations.
