Description

Engineering work is taking place at various locations between London Paddington and Didcot Parkway, closing some lines.

It is not yet known how these works affects the Elizabeth line.

Great Western Railway:

Long distance services:

The 07:59 London Paddington to Exeter St Davids (via Bristol Temple Meads) will depart at 08:03, then trains from
London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads (and beyond) will operate to a reduced (mostly hourly) frequency.

Some scheduled to operate beyond Bristol Temple Meads will instead terminate there. Some will call additionally at Didcot Parkway.

Trains from Bristol Temple Meads (and from beyond) to London Paddington will operate to a reduced (mostly hourly) frequency. Some scheduled to operate from beyond Bristol Temple Meads will instead start from there.

Local services:

Some trains between London Paddington and Great Malvern / Hereford will run to an amended timetable.

Heathrow Express:

Before 07:40:

No trains will run Heathrow Terminal 5 and London Paddington before 07:40.

After 07:40:

A normal train service of 4 trains per hour will run.
