Description

Engineering work is taking place between Penzance and St Ives / Truro, closing all lines.

CrossCountry:

Buses will replace trains between Penzance and Plymouth.

Great Western Railway:

Buses will replace trains between:

  • Penzance and Truro, calling at St Erth

  • Penzance and Truro, calling at St Erth, Hayle, Cambourne and Redruth

At St Erth, buses towards Penzance will drop off only, and buses from Penzance will pick up only.

For travel between St Erth and St Ives, and also between St Erth and Penzance, you can use your tickets at no extra cost on First bus services 17 / 17A.

These buses call at:

  • St Erth Railway station interchange

  • Penzance (bus station)

  • Lelant Downs (Village Hall)

  • Carbis Bay (Longstone Cross)

  • St Ives (The Terrace)

"Night Riviera" Sleeper services:

Sleeper services that usually run between Penzance and London Paddington will be amended to run between Truro and London Paddington only.

On Tuesday morning, the 23:45 London Paddington to Penzance (terminating at Truro) “Night Riviera" Sleeper service will arrive at Exeter St Davids at 04:25.

On Thursday morning, the 23:45 London Paddington to Penzance (terminating at Truro) “Night Riviera" Sleeper service will arrive at Exeter St Davids at 04:19.
