Description
Engineering work to renew the tracks is taking place between Plymouth and Gunnislake / Liskeard, closing all lines.
No trains will run between Plymouth and Liskeard.
CrossCountry:
Buses will replace trains between Plymouth and Liskeard all week. These replacement buses will be provided by Great Western Railway.
Great Western Railway:
Replacement buses will run between:
Plymouth and St Austell (fast)
Plymouth and Liskeard ( all calling at Saltash and St Germans, some buses will additionally call at Devonport, Dockyard, Keyham and St Budeaux Ferry Road )
Menheniot and Liskeard (minibus service, connecting with Liskeard - Penzance trains and Plymouth - Liskeard buses)
Plymouth and Bere Ferrers via Bere Alston
Plymouth and Calstock via Gunnislake
If you are travelling between Gunnislake / Calstock and Bere Ferres / Bere Alston you will have to use replacement buses to travel via Plymouth.
Buses replacing stops at St Budeaux Ferry Road or St Budeaux Victoria Road will call at St Budeaux Square (Wolseley Road).
Liskeard - Looe:
Trains between Liskeard and Looe will be retimed to connect with replacement bus services, with some trains running earlier than usual.
Night Riviera Sleeper services:
Sleeper services that usually run between London Paddington and Penzance will be amended to run between London Paddington and Plymouth instead. To connect with the Plymouth to London Paddington sleeper, if you are travelling from stations between Penzance and Plymouth you will need to travel earlier to maintain your connection with the train.
