Great Western Railway between London Paddington and Swindon / Bristol Parkway / Bristol Temple Meads / Cardiff Central / Swansea / Carmarthen / Weston-super-Mare / Taunton / Penzance, between Oxford and Bristol Temple Meads, and also between Swindon and Westbury
Description
Engineering work is taking place between Didcot Parkway and Chippenham, closing all lines.
As a result, buses will replace trains between:
Reading and Swindon (2 buses per hour)
Swindon and Bristol Parkway (1 bus per hour)
Swindon and Didcot Parkway (1 bus per hour)
Swindon and Chippenham (1 bus per hour)
Trains between London Paddington and Bristol Temple Meads / Cardiff Central / Swansea / Carmarthen will be amended to run slightly earlier than usual, and will be diverted to run via Newbury, not calling at Didcot Parkway, Swindon or Chippenham. Journey times on these routes will be extended.
Trains between Swindon and Westbury will run between Chippenham and Westbury only.
