Description
Engineering work is taking place between Reading and Bedwyn, closing all lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.
Monday to Thursday:
The 19:04 Paignton to London Paddington will call additionally at Hungerford and Kintbury and will call at Newbury and beyond later than normal.
The 21:37 Bedwyn to Newbury will not run.
The 22:08 Newbury to Reading will depart much earlier than normal at 21:35 and will not call at Reading West. Road transport will operate at 22:08 from Newbury to Reading calling all stations.
The following trains will not run and will be replaced by road transport (some buses will depart at different times to trains they replace):
The 21:57 Newbury to Bedwyn
The 22:10 Reading to Newbury
The 22:25 Bedwyn to Newbury
The 22:47 Newbury to Reading
The 22:47 Newbury to Bedwyn
The 23:17 Bedwyn to Reading
Additionally, the 22:30 London Paddington to Bedwyn will not run. Customers for stations to Bedwyn travel by the 22:28 (departing 22:30) London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads as far as Reading, then change for road transport from Reading to Bedwyn.
Tuesday to Friday:
The 00:17 Reading to Newbury service will not run, and will be replaced by a bus.
The 05:31 Bedwyn to London Paddington service will terminate at Reading. You can use alternative Great Western Railway services between Reading and London Paddington at no extra cost.
