Great Western Railway between Reading and Newbury / Bedwyn, and between London Paddington and Bedwyn / Frome / Bedwyn

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Reading West and Pewsey, closing all lines on Monday to Thursday evenings.

As a result:

  • The 21:57 Newbury to Bedwyn will not run and will be replaced by earlier road transport at 21:55 from Newbury to Kintbury, Hungerford and Bedwyn

  • The 22:25 Bedwyn to Newbury will not run and will be replaced by earlier road transport from Bedwyn to Hungerford, Kintbury and Newbury. This bus connects at Newbury with the 22:47 Newbury to Reading train service

  • The 22:30 London Paddington to Bedwyn will terminate at Newbury. Road transport will run from Newbury to Kintbury, Hungerford and Bedwyn

  • The 22:47 Newbury to Bedwyn will not run, and will be replaced by road transport from Newbury to Kintbury, Hungerford and Bedwyn

  • The 23:17 Bedwyn to Reading will start from Newbury at 23:34. Earlier road transport from Bedwyn to Hungerford, Kintbury and Newbury to connect into the train. Also, road transport will run at 23:35 from Bedwyn, Hungerford and Kintbury dropping off only at Newbury, Thatcham and Reading

Buses serve railway stations (forecourt / car park / entrance), except at Kintbury where it is at the Level Crossing by Station Road.
