Description

Engineering work is taking place between Reading and Winchester, closing some lines. ​​​​​​​

CrossCountry:

Saturday

Trains will not call at Winchester and Southampton Airport Parkway. Journey times to / from Southampton Central will be extended by one hour. You can use South Western Railway services between Basingstoke and Winchester.

Sunday

Trains will not call at Basingstoke, Winchester and Southampton Airport Parkway. Journey times to/from Southampton Central will be extended by one hour.

CrossCountry rail replacement buses will operate between Reading, Basingstoke and Winchester.

Great Western Railway:

Sunday

Trains between Reading and Basingstoke will not run and will be replaced by road transport.

All buses will call Reading Green Park, Mortimer and Bramley.

Reading West customers to use rail services between Reading and Newbury / Bedwyn.

CrossCountry will be operating fast buses between Reading and Basingstoke for much of the day. If you are travelling between Reading and Basingstoke can use these fast buses.

South Western Railway:

On Sunday engineering work is taking place between Weybridge and Winchester / Andover, buses will replace trains between the following stations:

  • Weybridge and Basingstoke

  • Weybridge and Aldershot

  • Weybridge and Guildford

  • Woking and Winchester

  • Woking and Andover
