Amended morning trains in the Reading area on Sunday 10 August

Great Western Railway between London Paddington and Hereford / Penzance, and between Reading and Newbury / Bedwyn

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Reading and Didcot Parkway / Theale, closing some lines on Sunday morning.

As a result:

• The 08:04 (departing 07:53) London Paddington to Penzance service will be diverted between Reading and Westbury, not calling at Newbury or Pewsey. For these stations, you should travel on the 08:44 (departing 08:36) London Paddington to Penzance service, which will additionally call at Newbury and Pewsey

• The 08:06 Reading to Newbury service will not run. An earlier replacement bus will run from Reading at 07:58 to Newbury, calling at all stations except Newbury Racecourse, and connecting with the amended 08:33 Reading to Bedwyn service (see below)

• The 08:33 Reading to Bedwyn service will be amended to start from Newbury at 09:02

• The 09:50 London Paddington to Hereford will depart earlier than usual, at 09:47

If you are travelling to / from Newbury or Pewsey you should travel by alternative services to complete your journey.
