Great Western Railway between Reading and Basingstoke

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Reading and Basingstoke, closing all lines on Saturday evening and all day on Sunday.

Saturday:

The 22:35 and 23:05 Reading to Basingstoke services will not run and will be replaced by one bus at 23:10 from Reading to Reading West, Reading Green Park, Mortimer, Bramley and Basingstoke.

The 23:20 and 23:40 Basingstoke to Reading services will not run and will be replaced by one bus at 23:40 from Basingstoke to Bramley, Mortimer, Reading Green Park, then dropping off only at Reading West and Reading.

Sunday and Monday:

Buses will replace trains between Reading and Basingstoke.

Buses will not call at Reading West - for this station, you should use alternative train services instead.
