Great Western Railway between London Paddington and Penzance, and between Reading and Newbury

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Reading and Theale, closing some lines early on Sunday morning.

Long distance services:

The 08:04 (departing 07:57) London Paddington to Penzance will divert between Reading and Westbury (via Swindon – not calling). It will not call at Newbury and Pewsey - for these stations, you should travel on the 08:44 London Paddington to Penzance service (see below).

The 08:44 (departing 08:31) London Paddington to Penzance will call additionally at Newbury and Pewsey.

Local services:

The 08:06 Reading to Newbury will not run. Earlier road transport will run at 07:51 from Reading to Newbury, calling at all stations except Newbury Racecourse (connecting at Newbury with the 08:33 Reading to Bedwyn train, see below).

The 08:33 Reading to Bedwyn will start from Newbury at 09:02.
