Description

Engineering work is taking place between Reading and Theale, closing all lines until 17:30.

Until 17:30:

No trains will run between Theale and Newbury.

Trains between London Paddington and Plymouth / Penzance will have revised times and will divert:

  • Between Reading and Taunton, calling additionally at Bristol Temple Meads

  • Between Reading and Westbury, and will not call at Newbury, Hungerford and Pewsey with some services calling additionally Swindon, Westbury and Castle Cary

Additionally, some morning services between Swindon and Westbury / Frome / Weymouth will be retimed.

Rail replacement bus services will run every 2 hours (both directions) between Reading and Newbury / Hungerford, and between Swindon and Pewsey.
