Great Western Railway between Reading and Newbury / Bedwyn, and between Newbury and Bedwyn

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Reading West and Bedwyn, closing various lines on Saturday morning.

As a result:

  • The 05:08 Reading to Bedwyn service will not run, and will be replaced by earlier road transport at 05:05 from Reading to all stations to Newbury. This bus will connect with the amended 05:39 Reading to Bedwyn service (see below)

  • The 05:39 Reading to Bedwyn service will depart at 05:55, calling Reading West, then operating fast to Newbury, (not calling at Theale, Aldermaston, Midgham, Thatcham and Newbury Racecourse), before continuing to Kintbury, Hungerford and Bedwyn

  • The 06:08 Bedwyn to Reading service will start from Newbury at 06:25. Earlier road transport will run at 05:30 from Bedwyn, Hungerford and Kintbury to Newbury to connect with the train

  • The 06:34 Reading to Newbury service will arrive at Newbury at 06:57

  • The 06:35 Bedwyn to Newbury service will depart at 06:37

  • The 06:58 Newbury to London Paddington service will start from Newbury at 07:00

  • The 07:00 Newbury to Bedwyn service will start from Newbury at 07:02
