Description

Engineering work is taking place between Romily and New Mills Central, closing some lines.

Northern:

Saturday

Sheffield - Manchester Piccadilly: Trains will be diverted via Stockport.

New Mills Central - Manchester Piccadilly: Trains will not run.

Buses will be provided between New Mills Central / Chinley and Manchester Piccadilly.

Sunday

Sheffield - Manchester Piccadilly: Trains will not run.

Buses will be provided between Sheffield and Manchester Piccadilly. Edale will be served by a mini-bus shuttle to / from Hope.

TransPennine Express

Sunday only

A reduced service will be in operation as follows:

• One service every two hours between Sheffield and Manchester Piccadilly

• One service per hour between Cleethorpes and Doncaster

• One service per hour between Manchester Oxford Road and Liverpool Lime Street
  

A rail replacement bus service will be in operation between Sheffield and Manchester Piccadilly in both directions.
