Description

Engineering work is taking place between Sheffield and Manchester Piccadilly, closing some lines.

East Midlands Railway:

There will be an amended timetable on the Norwich to Liverpool Lime Street route, with trains terminating at Sheffield.

There will be a connecting rail replacement bus service running between Chesterfield and Stockport and Sheffield and Stockport to connect with alternative services.

Northern:

Trains will only run between Chinley and Manchester Piccadilly. A replacement bus service will operate between Sheffield and Chinley serving all stations except Edale. A mini-bus shuttle service will be provided between Hope and Edale.

TransPennine Express:

Trains between Cleethorpes and Liverpool Lime Street will run as follows:

  • Cleethorpes and Doncaster, (you should use other train operator services between Doncaster and Sheffield)

  • Sheffield and Manchester Piccadilly via Huddersfield (not calling), (you should use other train operator services between Stockport and Manchester Piccadilly)

  • Manchester Oxford Road and Liverpool Lime Street
