Description

Engineering work is taking place between Sheffield and Manchester, closing some lines.

East Midlands Railway:

Trains will run to an amended timetable, with services running between Norwich and Nottingham, and between Nottingham and Sheffield only.

Replacement buses will run between Chesterfield and Manchester Piccadilly. For travel between Manchester and Liverpool, you should use other train services instead at no extra cost.

Northern:

Buses will be provided between Sheffield and Chinley.

Edale will be served by a minibus shuttle service from / to Hope.

TransPennine Express:

TransPennine Express will operate to an amended timetable between:

• Sheffield and Manchester Piccadilly

• Manchester Oxford Road and Liverpool Lime Street

• Cleethorpes and Doncaster

You are advised to use alternative services between Doncaster and Sheffield.
