Description

Engineering work is taking place between South Croydon and Oxted / East Grinstead / Uckfield closing all lines.

Replacement buses will run between:

  • Purley and East Grinstead calling at Upper Warlingham and Oxted / East Grinstead

  • Oxted and Crowborough / Uckfield

  • Upper Warlingham and Woldingham

  • Oxted and East Grinstead

Tickets for journeys on the Uckfield line will also be accepted on Southeastern trains between London Bridge and Tunbridge Wells at no extra cost.

Sanderstead and Riddlesdown will have no train or replacement bus service for nearly all of this closure.

If you are travelling to / from Sanderstead, you are advised to use Purley Oaks station and customers travelling to / from Riddlesdown are advised to use Purley Station.

Paper tickets will also be accepted on TfL London Bus routes at no extra cost:

  • 403 between South Croydon – Sanderstead

  • 412 between South Croydon – Riddlesdown – Purley

Journey times will be increased when using replacement buses.
