Engineering work is taking place in the Stockport area, closing all lines.
A reduced service of 2 trains per hour will run between London Euston and Manchester Piccadilly, with trains diverting to run via Heald Green. Journey times will be extended, and trains will not call at Stockport.

Trains will not call at Stockport, Macclesfield or Stoke-on-Trent.

It is not yet known how East Midlands Railway will be affected by this engineering work.
Manchester Piccadilly - Crewe via Manchester Airport:
Trains will run to a reduced timetable, and will additionally call at Chelford and Goostrey.
Manchester Piccadilly - Alderney Edge / Crewe via Stockport:
Trains on this route will not run.
Manchester Piccadilly - Stoke-on-Trent:
Trains on this route will not run.
Manchester Piccadilly - Buxton:
Trains will run between Hazel Grove and Buxton only, to a reduced timetable.
Manchester Piccadilly - Chester:
On Saturday trains will run between Altrincham and Chester, to a reduced timetable.
On Sunday trains will not run on this route.

Trains will not call at Stockport.
Replacement buses will run between Manchester Piccadilly and Stockport.
No trains will call at Stockport.
Trains running between Manchester Piccadilly and Crewe will be diverted between Manchester Piccadilly and Wilmslow, and will be retimed.
Replacement buses will run between Wilmslow and Stockport, connecting with amended train services.
Additionally, some Transport for Wales services between Manchester Airport and Manchester Piccadilly / Chester / Rhyl will run at amended times between Manchester Airport, East Didsbury and Manchester Piccadilly.
