Description

Engineering work is taking place overnight between Swindon and Chippenham and also in the Bridgend area, closing some lines.

Monday to Thursday:

The 20:48 London Paddington to Swansea will divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Ninian Park – not calling) arriving / departing Bridgend and beyond later than normal. On Wednesday and Thursday nights the train will incur 8 minutes additional journey time between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway.

The 21:48 London Paddington to Swansea will use this route as normal between Cardiff Central and Bridgend
(via Ninian Park – NOT calling). On Wednesday and Thursday nights the train will incur 8 minutes additional journey time between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway.

The 22:46 London Paddington to Swansea will divert between Swindon and Bristol Parkway, calling additionally at Chippenham and Bath Spa (set down only), then arrive / depart Bristol Parkway and beyond later than normal. Tis service will further divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Ninian Park – NOT calling) arriving/departing Bridgend and beyond later than normal. On Wednesday and Thursday nights the train will incur 8 minutes additional journey time between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway.

Tuesday to Friday:

The 03:46 Swansea to London Paddington will arrive / depart Bridgend and arrive Cardiff Central a few minutes later than normal. Normal timings departing Cardiff Central and beyond.
