Great Western Railway between London Paddington and Oxford / Bristol Temple Meads / Swansea

Description

Engineering work is taking place in the Didcot Parkway area, and also between Swindon and Bristol Temple Meads / Bath Spa, closing various lines on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

As a result:

  • The 22:46 London Paddington to Swansea service will divert between Swindon and Bristol Parkway. It will call additionally at Chippenham and Bath Spa (to drop off only), then call at Bristol Parkway and beyond later than normal

  • The 23:32 London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads service will divert between Reading and Bath Spa (via Newbury – not calling). It will not call at Didcot Parkway, Swindon or Chippenham. For Didcot Parkway, you should travel by the 23:14 London Paddington to Oxford which will call at Didcot Parkway. A replacement bus will connect out of this train at Didcot Parkway for Swindon and Chippenham. If you are travelling from Didcot Parkway, Swindon or Chippenham to Bath Spa and Bristol Temple Meads, you should travel by earlier services
