Amended late night trains between Swindon and Bristol Parkway / Cheltenham Spa from Monday 18 to Thursday 21 August

Great Western Railway between London Paddington and Swansea, and between Swindon and Cheltenham Spa

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Swindon and Bristol Parkway / Cheltenham Spa, closing various lines.

As a result:

• The 22:46 London Paddington to Swansea service will be diverted after Swindon (via Bath Spa, not calling), and will call at Bristol Parkway, then continue to run beyond later than normal

• The 23:42 Swindon to Cheltenham Spa service will depart earlier than usual, at 23:17. This train will not call at Kemble, Stroud, and Stonehouse as it's diverting via Bath Spa and Severn Tunnel Junction, not calling at either station, and terminating at Gloucester. At 23:45, a replacement bus will run between Swindon and Cheltenham Spa via Kemble, Stroud and Stonehouse. If you are travelling to Gloucester, you should use the train service where possible
