Description

Engineering work is taking place between Sydenham and West Croydon, closing various lines.

London Overground:

All day:

No trains will run between Sydenham and West Croydon.

You can use Southern services to / from West Croydon at no extra cost.

After 19:15:

No trains will run between Highbury & Islington and Clapham Junction / Crystal Palace / West Croydon.

Replacement buses will run between:

  • Canada Water and Clapham Junction

  • Dalston Kingsland and New Cross Gate

Ticket acceptance:

You can use your tickets at no extra cost on Southern services to / from New Cross Gate, Brockley, Honor Oak Park, Forest Hill, Sydenham and Crystal Palace, and on Southern services between Crystal Palace and Norwood Junction, and between Norwood Junction and East Croydon / West Croydon.

If you have a National Rail paper ticket or e-ticket, you can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following operators’ services:

  • London Buses between Crystal Palace and Anerley

  • London Bus route D3 for Shadwell / Wapping

  • Docklands Light Railway to / from Tower Gateway / Shadwell / Deptford Bridge

  • London Underground to / from Bermondsey

If you are using contactless payment / Oyster card, you can also use the above alternative travel options but you will be required to pay the normal tap in / tap out fares for your journey.

Southern:

It is not yet known how Southern will be affected by this engineering work.
