Between London Paddington and Taunton / Paignton / Plymouth / Penzance and also between Bristol Temple Meads / Swindon and Frome / Weymouth

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Westbury and Frome, closing some lines.

Trains between London Paddington and Plymouth / Penzance will operate to a slightly reduced frequency in revised timings and will divert between Reading and Taunton (via Bristol Temple Meads, where they will call additionally). They will not call at Hungerford, Newbury, Pewsey, Westbury and Castle Cary. Some trains will call additionally at Swindon. At Swindon diverted trains from London Paddington will stop to pick up only.

Trains between London Paddington and Paignton will NOT run.

Trains between Bristol Temple Meads /Swindon and Frome / Weymouth will operate between Bristol Temple Meads / Swindon and Westbury, then between Castle Cary and Weymouth.

Replacement buses will operate between:

  • Westbury and Frome

  • Westbury, Frome, Bruton and Castle Cary

  • Castle Cary and Taunton (taking 60-65 minutes)
