Description

Engineering work is taking place over 6 days between Worcester Foregate Street and Hereford, closing all lines. This is due to essential track renewal work taking place.

Great Western Railway:

To / from Hereford:

Trains that usually run between London Paddington and Hereford will be amended to run between London Paddington and Worcester Shrub Hill / Worcester Foregate Street only.

Replacement buses will run between Worcester Shrub Hill and Hereford.

At Worcester Foregate Street, replacement buses towards Hereford will call to pick up only, and replacement buses from Hereford will stop to drop off only.

Additionally, on Monday to Thursday, the 22:00 Hereford (starting from Worcester Foregate Street at 22:49) to London Paddington service will call at Didcot Parkway, Reading and Slough around 4 minutes later than usual.

Between Bristol Temple Meads and Worcester Foregate Street / Great Malvern:

Monday to Friday:

Trains from Bristol Temple Meads to Worcester Foregate Street will be retimed to arrive at Worcester Foregate Street up to 7 minutes later than usual.

A few trains that usually run to / from Worcester Foregate Street will be amended to run to / from Worcester Shrub Hill instead.

West Midlands Railway:

Sunday:

Services between Birmingham New Street and Worcester Shrub Hill / Worcester Foregate Street / Hereford will be diverted to run between Birmingham Snow Hill and Worcester Foregate Street only. These services will not call at University or Bromsgrove.

Trains between Worcester Shrub Hill and Hereford will not run.

Trains between Lichfield Trent Valley and Longbridge / Redditch will run between Lichfield and Birmingham New Street only.

Trains between Birmingham New Street and Bromsgrove will not run.

Replacement bus services will run between:

• Worcester Shrub Hill / Worcester Foregate Street and Hereford

• Birmingham New Street and Longbridge / Redditch / Bromsgrove

Monday to Friday:

Services between Birmingham New Street and Great Malvern / Hereford will run between Birmingham New Street and Worcester Shrub Hill / Worcester Foregate Street only.

Trains between Worcester Shrub Hill and Hereford will not run.

Replacement bus services will run between:

• Worcester Shrub Hill / Worcester Foregate Street and Great Malvern / Hereford
