Description
Lines have reopened following a passenger being taken ill on a train at New Southgate. As services recover, trains between London St Pancras International / London Kings Cross and Stevenage may still be delayed by up to 20 minutes.
Disruption is expected until 20:45.

Trains which run between Alexandra Palace and Welwyn Garden City may still be delayed up to 20 minutes as teams work to get trains back on time in this area. If you are travelling now, you may need to wait longer for a train towards your destination, or change trains more times than usual en route.
Trains which run between Moorgate and Welwyn Garden City will now run as booked and will call at their usual stations.
You may find that using an alternative route will help you complete your journey. To keep you moving, your ticket will be accepted on the following services at no extra cost;
Alternative Thameslink services via any reasonable route
Alternative Great Northern services via any reasonable route
London Buses between Finsbury Park and Potters Bar

Earlier today, a passenger was taken ill on a train between Alexandra Palace and Welwyn Garden City. Great Northern and Thameslink staff and the emergency services worked to make sure the person was provided with medical attention as quickly as possible.
If a passenger falls ill, staff will assess the situation. Emergency services may ask operators to keep them on the train until help arrives, which can cause delays. Once it's safe, they'll be assisted off the train.
