Description
A fault with the signalling system between Farnham and Alton means all lines are blocked. Trains will be revised to not run between these stations.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
What South Western Railway are doing about it:
Engineers are on their way to site, until they arrive, trains are unable to run between Farnham and Alton.
Trains between London Waterloo and Alton will run between London Waterloo and Farnham in both directions
Suburban services:
Services between Guildford and Farnham may also be delayed, altered or cancelled at short notice due to crew being in the wrong locations because of the signalling problem.
How do I get to my destination?
South Western Railway have arranged replacement transport to run on the following routes:
Farnham and Alton - these buses are expected to be in place from 19:15
