Between Banbury / Oxford and Didcot Parkway

Description

A freight train derailment within the depot has occurred between Oxford and Didcot Parkway, closing the line running towards Didcot Parkway.

As a result of this issue, trains running between these stations may be cancelled or revised.

This is expected until the end of the day.

Customer advice:

Oxford to Didcot Parkway stopping services will be cancelled.

Appleford, Radley and Culham will not be served. Road transport will be arranged for these stations.

Didcot Parkway to Banbury services will run between Oxford and Banbury only.

Customers at Oxford wishing to travel to Didcot Parkway are advised to travel to Reading and change.

If you are boarding at an unstaffed station, please make use of the help points available for further information.

Customers are also advised to check the stations onward travel information poster and wait for replacement road transport at the designated stop. Road transport may run later than the advertised train times as it takes additional time by road between stations, and additional time is required for loading and unloading passengers at each stop.
