Between Ascot and Aldershot, and also between London Waterloo and Farnham / Alton

Description

A broken down train between Frimley and Ash Vale is causing disruption to the shuttle services which run between Ascot and Aldershot. These services have been suspended whilst all lines are blocked.

There is also a signalling fault at Aldershot which means trains will have to run at reduced speeds on some lines from Woking towards Alton.

As a result of both incidents, trains running between Ascot / Woking and Aldershot may be cancelled or delayed by up to 15 minutes.

Disruption is expected until 11:00.

Additional information:

Engineers are on site investigating and working towards rectifying the fault on the broken down train. More information will be provide more when it is available. There is no estimated time of when the lines are expected to reopen.

As a result of this, services between Ascot and Aldershot services will be suspended in both directions until further notice.

  • Stagecoach Buses routes:

    • 1 between Aldershot - North Camp - Farnborough - Frimley - Camberley

    • 3 between Aldershot - Ash Vale - Frimley - Camberley

  • White Bus routes:

    • X94 between Frimley - Camberley - Bracknell - Ascot

    • 500 between Frimley - Camberley - Bagshot - Sunningdale - Virginia Water - Egham - Staines

  • Thames Valley Buses 194 between Bracknell - Camberley - Frimley - Farnborough Main

Rail services:

  • Great Western Railway between Guildford and Reading in both directions

To help you complete your journey, South Western Railway have arranged replacement buses to run between Ascot calling at Bagshot, Camberley ,Frimley, Ash Vale, and Aldershot in both directions. These buses are not running to a set timetable.
