Between Ascot and Aldershot

Description

There are a number of trees on the line between Ascot and Bagshot.

To allow teams to access the railway, power to the track has had to be switched off. As a result of this, services between Ascot and Aldershot are currently unable to operate and have been suspended.

This is expected until 13:00.

Customer advice:

Response teams are making arrangements to remove the trees. For safety reasons, the power to the track will need to be switched off to enable the teams to remove the obstruction. It isn't currently known when the lines are expected to reopen.

As a result, Ascot to Aldershot services will be suspended in both directions until further notice.

  • Stagecoach South bus routes as follows:

    • 1 between Aldershot - North Camp - Farnborough - Frimley - Camberley

    • 2 between Camberley - Frimley - Farnborough

    • 3 between Aldershot - Ash Vale - Frimley - Camberley

    • 34 and 35 between Camberley - Bagshot - Woking - Guildford

  • Thames Valley bus route 194 between Bracknell - Camberley - Frimley - Farnborough Main

  • White Bus routes as follows:

    • 11 between Farnborough Main - Frimley Green - Camberley

    • X94 between Ascot - Martins Heron - Bracknell - Camberley - Frimley

    • 500 between Staines - Egham - Virginia Water - Sunningdale - Bagshot - Camberley - Frimley

  • Newbury & District routes 730 and 731 between Basingstoke - Frimley - Camberley – Bagshot

To help you complete your journey, South Western Railway have arranged replacement buses to run between Ascot and Aldershot (calling at Bagshot, Camberley, Frimley, Ash Vale, and Aldershot) in both directions. These should be in place from 10:20 (Ascot - Aldershot) and 10:45 (Aldershot - Ascot). These buses are not running to a set timetable.
