Description
Urgent repairs to the track between Clapham Junction and Selhurst means some lines are blocked. As a result, trans running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 12:00.

Customer Advice:
Southern are only able to run on one of two lines from Clapham Junction towards Selhurst due to the track requiring urgent repairs in the Balham area.
You may need to use an alternative route for your journey this morning if you're travelling between Clapham Junction and Selhurst, as services will experience cancellations and alterations.
We recommend you allow at least 10 - 15 minutes of extra time for your journey this morning. You may be required to change trains partway through your journey, in which case we would recommend allowing at least 20 minutes extra.
The following services have been suspended until further notice:
- Gatwick Express services between London Victoria and Brighton 
- Southern services between London Victoria and Eastbourne 
- Southern services between East Croydon and Watford Junction 
- Peak Southern services between London Victoria and Sutton 
- Peak Southern services between London Victoria and Reigate / Gatwick Airport 
- Peak Southern services between London Victoria and Epsom 
The following alterations will also be in place for Southern services:
- Services between London Victoria and Ore will stop additionally at Hampden Park, Cooksbridge and Three Bridges 
- Services between London Victoria and Ore will stop additionally at Three Bridges 
- Services between London Victoria and East Grinstead will run on a reduced frequency 
The following services will not call at Battersea Park or Wandsworth Common:
- Southern services travelling from London Victoria towards West Croydon 
- Southern services from London Victoria towards London Bridge 
- Southern services from London Victoria towards Epsom Downs 
Additional ad-hoc alterations and cancellations are possible. This means your train may not stop at some advertised stations, or will be started/terminated at a different station than planned.
Travel advice:
If you are travelling within the London area:
It is recommended that you use alternative Southern services where possible. You can also use London Buses and London Underground services to connect with alternative trains towards your destination.
For journeys between Clapham Junction and Watford Junction:
It is recommended that you use London Overground services. You can take the London Overground between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction, changing here for alternative Overground services to / from Watford Junction.
For travel between Brighton and Gatwick Airport, or London Victoria and Gatwick Airport:
You can use Thameslink services as an alternative between Brighton and Gatwick Airport. If you are travelling between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport, it is recommended that you use Southern services. You may also wish to use Thameslink services between Brighton and London Blackfriars for travel to / from London. Underground services can be used to transfer between London Blackfriars and London Victoria.
If you are travelling to Gatwick Airport for a flight:
Please make sure to check your train before travelling and allow yourself plenty of time to make your flight.

- South Western Railway services between Dorking, Epsom, Wimbledon, Clapham Junction and London Waterloo 
- London Overground services between - Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction 
- London Euston and Watford Junction 
- Canada Water and Clapham Junction for passengers to connect via Brighton mainline via London Bridge 
- West Croydon / Crystal Palace and New Cross Gate (for Norwood Junction, Anerley, Penge West, Sydenham, Forest Hill, Honor Oak Park, Brockley 
 
- Great Western Railway services between Redhill and Reigate

A crack has been found in a set of points in the Balham area, which has closed the 'fast line' from Clapham Junction towards Selhurst.
Network Rail and specialist track engineers are on site and working to fix this issue.
