Southern between Dorking / Epsom Downs / Sutton (Surrey) / London Bridge and London Victoria, between East Croydon and Watford Junction and also between Norwood Junction and Balham
Description
The emergency services dealing with an incident between Streatham Common and Balham. Whilst they do their work, all lines are closed.
Trains running between East Croydon / West Croydon and London Victoria may be delayed until lines reopen, cancelled or revised.
Gatwick Express trains are suspended.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Customer advice:
Services are unable to run in either direction between London Victoria and East Croydon / West Croydon until further notice.
Southern services will be amended to terminate elsewhere, for instance East Croydon or London Bridge, or will be diverted via an alternative route.
Gatwick Express services between Brighton and Gatwick Airport / London Victoria, will be suspended until further notice.
Journeys will take at least 30-60 minutes longer than usual so please check before you travel and allow plenty of extra time.
If you are looking to travel to / from London Victoria, It is strongly advised to travelling to / from London Bridge or London Blackfriars instead.
Tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on the following:
Southern and Thameslink on any reasonable route including to / from London Blackfriars and London Bridge
Southeastern between Hastings and Tonbridge / London Bridge
London Underground between London Terminals
London Buses between East Croydon / West Croydon and London Victoria
London Trams between East Croydon, West Croydon and Mitcham Junction
