Description
A fire on a train between Balham and London Victoria means that some lines are blocked. Southern trains running to / from these stations may be delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised.
This is expected until 15:00.
Customer advice:
You may need to use an alternative route to complete your journey and allow at least 20 minutes extra time to travel.
Trains running to / from London Victoria will not be calling at Battersea Park and Wandsworth Common until further notice.
If you are travelling to/from these stations, please use London buses to / from Clapham Junction or London Victoria to connect with train services.
Services running now will be delayed by at least 15 minutes. Please check information screens or speak to station staff for further information.

Southern have received reports of a fire on a train at Clapham Junction. Due to this, trains are being diverted via an alternative track, which means they are unable to stop at Battersea Park and Wandsworth Common until the affected line reopens.
Southern are working with the fire brigade to ensure the fire is extinguished as quickly as possible.
