Between London Waterloo and Bracknell / Hounslow / Kingston / Reading / Staines / Strawberry Hill / Weybridge / Windsor & Eton Riverside / Woking
A fault with the signalling system at Barnes means that the line running towards Hounslow is currently closed.
As a result, trains running through Barnes in this direction only will not run via Brentford, and will instead be diverted. Additionally, trains between Barnes and Feltham via Twickenham will run at reduced speeds.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Customer advice:
A signalling problem at Barnes means that the line from Barnes Bridge towards Hounslow is closed, and trains between Barnes and Mortlake are running at a reduced speed in both directions.
Until further notice the following train alterations will be necessary:
Trains from London Waterloo to Weybridge via Brentford will be diverted between Barnes and Feltham and will call additionally at Richmond and Twickenham
If you are travelling from any station between Barnes Bridge and Hounslow and wish to travel towards Weybridge, you are advised to board a service in the opposite direction to Barnes. Please change at Barnes for a service via Feltham for stations towards Weybridge.
To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost to yourself, on the following services until further notice:
London Overground Mildmay line between Richmond and Clapham Junction via Willesden Junction in both directions
District line from Wimbledon towards Westminster, change at Westminster via Jubilee line for London Waterloo, or change at Embankment via Bakerloo / Northern line for London Waterloo
London Buses between Wimbledon, Clapham Junction, Barnes, Richmond, Twickenham and Feltham
