Between Cardiff Central and Portsmouth Harbour, between Gloucester and Westbury / Warminster / Weymouth, and also between Bristol Temple Meads and Frome / Warminster / Salisbury

Description

A points failure between Bath Spa and Westbury means that all lines are blocked.

Trains can not run between these stations so may be cancelled or revised to terminate at a different station on their route.

No trains will call at Freshford, Avoncliff or Bradford-on-Avon.

Disruption is expected until approximately 12:30.

Road transport has been requested to run between Bath Spa and Westbury. More information will follow once this has been confirmed.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following services:

  • CrossCountry via any reasonable route

  • South Western Railway via any reasonable route

  • First bus routes:

    • D1: Bath (Bus Station), Bradford-on-Avon, Trowbridge, Westbury, Warminster

    • D2: Bath (Bus Station), Frome (Market Place)

If you are travelling between Bristol, Bath and Southampton, you can travel on a Great Western Railway service towards London Paddington and change at Reading for a CrossCountry service to Southampton Central.

Customers travelling to Portsmouth Harbour can travel to Reading, changing again at Guildford, to use South Western Railway to Portsmouth Harbour.
