Description
Heavy rain flooding the railway between Horsham and Arundel means that trains have to run at a reduced speed on all lines. Trains running between these stations may be delayed.
Disruption is expected until 16:00.

Floodwater can wash away the stones that support the track, damage the third rail that powers trains, and affect signalling systems.
Southern are working with Network Rail to manage the impact, using pumps and flood barriers where needed. Control teams are monitoring conditions and sending staff to affected areas as quickly as possible.
