Description
A fault with the signalling system between Bishops Stortford and Elsenham means all lines are blocked. Trains running between Cheshunt and Cambridge may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Greater Anglia are currently experiencing severe disruption to train services between Bishops Stortford and Elsenham due to a loss of signalling in the area. This means that trains are unable to safely proceed through this section of the railway until the problem is fixed. Network Rail are working to restore full signalling functionality as quickly and safely as possible.

Greater Anglia have arranged or you to use your ticket on the following alternative options, at no extra cost:
East Midlands Railway between Ely and Norwich
Thameslink services between London St Pancras International and Cambridge
Great Northern services between London Kings Cross and Ely
London Underground services via any reasonable routes
Limited buses are operating between Bishops Stortford and Stansted Airport.
Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
