Description

A road vehicle has collided with the barriers at a level crossing between Sleaford and Boston. As a result, all lines are closed and trains will be cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until 20:00.

Trains running through the area in both directions between Sleaford and Boston are currently unable to run.

At present East Midlands Railway are expecting the problem to be fixed in the next 3 hours. As soon as the problem is fixed their priority will be to get trains running to their advertised times again.

How do I get where I need to be?

You should continue to travel as originally planned however your journey may be delayed by up to 60 minutes.

East Midlands Railway have been unable to source rail replacement transport. If you are able to source your own transport, please ask for a receipt and send this into their Customer Service Centre for a refund quoting reference EMRSkegness090726.
