Description

A fault with the signalling system at Brighton means that some lines are disrupted. As a result, trains at Brighton may be delayed by up to 10 minutes.

Disruption is expected until 11:30.

Customer advice:

There is currently a number of platforms unavailable at Brighton which means trains will have to wait until a platform is becomes clear to be able to run in and out of Brighton station.

This impacts both Southern and Thameslink trains that travel between Brighton and London.

At present you can still travel as normal but please allow up to 10 minutes extra on your travel as your train may have to wait at a different station for a short while before continuing to move.

If you are onboard a train that is currently at a stand, please remain onboard and listen to further announcements. Your train will move shortly and may only sit at a different location for a short while.

You can use your ticket on any Southern or Thameslink service between Brighton and London at no extra cost.
