Description

A fault with the signalling system between Brockenhurst and Southampton Central means that trains must run at a reduced speed on the line towards Southampton.

Trains running through these stations will be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or running non stop between Brockenhurst and Totton.

A reduced service is expected between Bournemouth and Southampton Central during 10:00 and 20:00 tomorrow, Friday 11 July, due to the forecast high temperatures.

Disruption is expected until 20:00 Friday 11 July.

South Western Railway customer advice:

Trains will not be calling at Beaulieu Road and Ashurst New Forest in the direction of Southampton Central until further notice. Customers for these stations are advised to travel to Southampton Central and board a train calling at these stations from Southampton Central.

Due to the forecast high track temperatures expected tomorrow (11th July) between Southampton Central and Bournemouth, between the hours of 10:00 and 20:00 fewer trains will run between these stations in order to minimise service disruption.
