Service Impact

All lines between Cheshunt and Hertford East as well as Cheshunt and Bishops Stortford will be blocked. Trains will run between London Liverpool Street, Tottenham Hale, Waltham Cross and Cheshunt only. Journey Planners have been updated with all service alterations.

Alternative Travel Options

Trains will run between London Liverpool Street and Waltham Cross. Change at Waltham Cross for an extremely limited rail replacement bus service non stop to Stansted Airport.

Please be aware replacement buses at Waltham Cross depart from the bus stops at the station entrace.

Trains continue to run between Bishops Stortford and Stansted Airport.

Cambridge

The 07:54 London Liverpool Street to Cambridge North will start from Bishops Stortford at 08:39. There will be no replacement buses to Bishops Stortford.

From London Liverpool Street

Travel on the Circle, Hammersmith & City or Metropolitan line from London Liverpool Street to London Kings Cross / London St Pancras International and change for Great Northern 08:12 London Kings Cross to Cambridge North.

From Tottenham Hale

Travel on the London Victoria line to London Kings Cross / London St Pancras International and change for Great Northern 08:12 London Kings Cross to Cambridge North. We recommend you allow at least 22 minutes to travel on London Underground.

Hertford East

You can use your ticket on Great Northern services between Moorgate and Hertford North. There will be no replacement buses between Broxbourne and Hertford East.
