Between Norwich and Great Yarmouth / Sheringham / Lowestoft

Description

Following a fault with the signalling system in the Brundall Gardens area, lines have now reopened. Trains running between Norwich and Great Yarmouth / Sheringham / Lowestoft may still be delayed up to 45 minutes, cancelled or revised to allow the service to recover.

Disruption is expected until 11:00

Customer advice:

Following an earlier loss of signalling on the lines leaving Norwich that run towards Sheringham, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft, the signalling has been restored and trains can now run normally.

Service impact:

Services on the affected routes continue to be disrupted as Greater Anglia look to recover the advertised timetable.

Ticket acceptance:

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on:

  • Sanders bus routes:

    • X40, X41 and X44 between Norwich and Sheringham

    • CH1 and CH2 between Cromer and Sheringham

    • 55 between Norwich and North Walsham

  • First Bus routes:

    • X2, X21 and X22 between Lowestoft and Norwich

    • X1 and X11 between Norwich and Great Yarmouth

    • 15 and 16 between Norwich, Lingwood and Brundall

    • 1 and 1A between Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft

    • 12 between Norwich and Wroxham

Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
