Description

A road vehicle colliding with level crossing barriers between Cheltenham Spa and Worcester Foregate Street / Worcestershire Parkway means that fewer trains are able to run on all lines.

As a result, trains through these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 35 minutes.

This is expected until 13:00.

Replacement transport in the form of coaches have been arranged to operate between Gloucester and Worcester Foregate Street. Please speak with station staff for further information.

You can use your ticket, at no extra cost, on the following bus services:

  • Stagecoach – between Gloucester and Stroud:

    • 10 - Gloucester (Clarence Street), Cheltenham (Promenade)

    • 71 - Gloucester (Bus station), Ashchurch for Tewkesbury (Station)

    • 94 / 94X - Gloucester (Transport Hub), Cheltenham (Granley Road stop on A40, a 10 minute distance from the station)

    • 97 / 98 - Gloucester (Bus station), Cheltenham (Promenade)

If your train is cancelled, you may travel on either of the two services before, or two services after, your original train. If these are peak services or less flexible, you can still travel with your original ticket, at no extra cost.
