Description

A fault with the signalling system at Cheshunt means that trains have to run at a reduced speed on some lines. As a result, trains running between Broxbourne and Brimsdown may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 12:00.

Trains running towards London Liverpool Street are having to run past a signal at a slower speed to ensure the safety of the railway. Services running through this area are being delayed. Network Rail engineers have identified a damaged cable, which they are replacing. This work is likely to to some time and disruption will continue into the early afternoon.

Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
