Trains between Reading and Gatwick Airport

Description

A fault with the barriers at a level crossing between Guildford and Gatwick Airport means all lines are blocked. As a result, trains may be cancelled or delayed by up to 30 minutes.

Disruption is expected until 21:30.

Customer advice:

Replacement transport has been requested to run between Guildford and Gatwick Airport. More information will follow when confirmed.

Great Western Railway trains are still able to run between Reading and Guildford.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following services at no extra cost:

  • South Western Railway between Reading / Guildford and London Waterloo, and between Reading and Guildford

  • Southern between Gatwick Airport and London Victoria

  • Thameslink between Gatwick Airport and London Bridge

If you can, you might want to consider postponing your journey until service returns to normal.
