Description

All lines have now reopened following a tree on the railway at Clandon. Trains running between Guildford and Effingham Junction may continue to be cancelled, delayed by up to 40 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customer advice:

Response teams have cleared the tree from the track. The tree has since been removed, and all lines have now reopened. Due to the length of delays to services in the area, trains may still be cancelled, delayed or revised whilst South Western Railway resume normal services. Disruption is expected to be continue until the end of the day.

  • Services between London Waterloo and Guildford via Epsom and between Surbiton and Guildford via Cobham may still be delayed or revised whilst we restore the service to the scheduled timetable

  • Falcon Buses 479 between Guildford - Clandon - Horsley - Effingham Village - Bookham - Leatherhead - Ashtead - Epsom

  • Falcon Buses 715 between Guildford - Cobham - Esher - Hinchley Wood - Thames Ditton - Surbiton - Kingston
